Indraprastha College India

Delhi University has Establishing Indraprastha College for women in 1924. One of the oldest women college is the Indraprastha College in Delhi, the university started three female students in a class room. When the university stated first Indraprastha Girl's Senior Secondary School in Chadani Chowk of old Delhi. The university in 1930s introduce degree course and in 1938 the university convert Inthraprastha College with Degree College. Some year after Indraprastha College change location to Chrandrawali Bhawan and again change location Sham Nath Marg to the office.

The school and college ancestor both grew become out of the achievement of a group Benefactor accomplice with the Theosophical society of India. The university influence by Mrs. Annie Besant also thiresest, who trust in and promote education for female in North India. The women confirm her destination in marriage and motherhood. The university must dedicates and attract on the aggregate development and permission of female.
The college always needs to do National movement. It has a tradition of academic and service. Indraprastha College is beautiful building and green environment outside; the college area is 14.5 acres above, heritage according building title in 2002.

Mission:
The college founded in development of nationalist donor for women's education in Delhi, proud the college appreciative of its brilliant history and tradition. Delhi University of oldest women's college. The vision of the institution is to educate, facilitate entrust young, accentuate the demand to common the marginalized powerless sections amidst them to provide justice and honesty in society. The institution main mission is to support women her better and well education and leadership, to make better life in the society to motivate good personality in the world.
